Hi guys, someone asked me what brushes I use, so I thought I’d share it publicly! I use Paint Tool SAI for both sketching and painting (PS for only color touch-ups at the end), so here’s my four trusty SAI brushes! I only use these four, so hope it’s helpful!
#1 (Brush Pen) - for sketching & fine line work, ex:
The black lines & the shiny highlights
Also used with Bristle setting (instead of Simple Circle) for hair
#2 Brush - my most used brush of all. Almost all the brush strokes you see are this brush!
All the skin is just layers & layers of Brush strokes to blend
#3 Marker - my second most used brush. Used when I need to cover a large surface area or want less blending. I usually use this first and then use Brush over it for a bit more depth when painting skin, but I also use it a great deal for hair!
#4 Oil Water - I only use this for blending backgrounds, usually!

I’d really like to get together a bunch of artists on here and make a Monster Hunter 4 fan-zine, to celebrate the new game! I’m currently moving house and living on my friends floor, but as soon as I’m settled I’ll start reaching out to artists and working out fine details of the content, it’ll be good bit of fun and show how excited we are for the new title!
I usually am really inactive when it comes to reblogging, but goddamn this is a fine idea.

My friends and I occasionally have this problem so I’ve taught them this simple method that takes less than a minute as opposed to waiting several for your computer to restart(especially if it’s slow).
What’s great about this method is that sometimes restarting your computer wont fix the problem, but this usually will.
MAKE SURE YOU CLOSE ALL YOUR ART APPS.
This is important, otherwise the changes wont take effect. If it doesn’t work the first time, try again, sometimes it takes restarting it more than once.
For Windows 8, search for “services.msc” in your apps and click on the result. Continue from there!
Now go draw, babies!
Very helpful! This works whenever my tablet is having any problems at all. It’s very simple and very effective!
AAAH I NEEDED THIS
i don’t use a wacom, i use a huion, and this uide is awesome, but it hasn’t worked, because in services.msc it hasn’y brought up anything to do with tablets or huion, anyone know any other fast way to fix it?
